Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract

Contract Amount: $1,689,363

Guaranteed Savings: $50,574

This project was a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract that included seven buildings and over 210,000 sq.ft. in the Elliott County School district. The project was 100% funded through energy and operational savings through an energy revenue bond sale administered by Ross Sinclaire and Associates. Additionally, CMTA was able to secure a $500,000 grant for Elliott County from Kentucky Utilities. Construction for this project all took place over one summer and was completed in 3 months. 

  • Existing coal fired boiler was replaced with a new hybrid geothermal system at Elliot County High School 
  • New water to water geothermal central plant at Elliott County High School 
  • New lighting system for Elliott County High School 
  • Water Efficiency Savings at Elliott County High School 
  • New Automation System at Elliott County High School 
  • New Automation and Lighting retrofits at Isonville Elementary School 
  • Project resulted in all schools in the district achieving Energy Star status
