CMTA is providing full MEP, IT, and security design and construction administration services for this mission critical expansion of the client's existing data center, which serves their HQ campus research and healthcare facilities. The project will advance the current facility from traditional airside HVAC solutions to cutting edge Direct-To-Chip cooling solutions, as well as support high density HPC/Super Compute applications. The project includes the expansion of the building's physical footprint and the reconfiguration of the current facility to maximize the allowable density of critical IT infrastructure. This will be achieved through a carefully orchestrated shutdown and tie-in methodology to ensure zero interruption to their critical research operations.
