2020 Midwest Getting to Zero Buildings List

NBI’s inaugural Midwest list tracks commercial and multifamily zero energy (ZE) building projects across 13 states, showcases the status of ZE projects in the Midwest region, and increases public awareness, market acceptance, and adoption of ZE and other high-performance design and construction practices, including Passive House.

Warren County Public Schools’ Jennings Creek Elementary (designed by Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects and CMTA) is on the cover page, and seven other CMTA Zero Energy projects made the list accounting for 279,000 SF of ZE project space.
