SamsungWashington, DC

Samsung, a leader in electronic equipment design and manufacturing, desired to build a facility in Washington, DC, to display and market their latest and greatest product offerings to the government military sector. The facility required the integration of the company's products into the facility as a real-world demonstration of Samsung's capabilities.

Facility features for the building consisted of multiple video walls using both LCD and direct view LED displays. A fine pixel pitch video wall was also included on the ceiling of the elevator lobby to make the first step into the building a breathtaking one. Distributed audio and state-of-the-art teleconferencing technology were integrated into the design as well. All of the video transport was routed through the network via encoders and decoders, making the install very scalable and upgradable as products change and refreshes are necessary.

In the Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality lab, people can take a tour through various experiences using Samsung's state-of-the-art equipment paired with built-in displays. The technology is capable of giving the spectator a virtual view by the use of AR/VR goggles.

CMTA provided design services with tight coordination with Samsung's integrator to ensure all systems were cohesively designed and ensured no after-the-fact changes occurred.
