The Nation's First Mass Timber Broadcast Facility
Consulting Engineering
Located at Hollywood Park and adjacent to SoFi Stadium, the NFL’s new West Coast headquarters is designed to support the league’s expansive media operations. Spanning 214,000 SF of office space and nearly 75,000 SF for studio and studio support facilities, it serves as the new home for NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL RedZone, the NFL app, and other key departments. Partnering with Gensler, HBC, and MGAC on the project, CMTA provided comprehensive MEP engineering, IT, security, and audio visual design services, as well as commissioning, for this cutting-edge broadcast facility.
The new headquarters brings together 1,000 employees in a modern, amenity-rich vertical campus, occupying Levels G, L-2, and L-3 of a seven-story, multi-tenant building. The project also included the construction of a custom-built Studio Building spanning 25,000 SF, an adjoining two-story Studio Support Building covering 36,000 SF, and an 1,800 SF rooftop studio.
The rooftop studio is equipped with advanced lighting, electrical, and cabling infrastructure to support the outdoor amenity decks. Notably, the facility also includes NFL Media’s first live-audience studio, enabling dynamic interactions within this technology-integrated environment.
