Microsoft Corporation Vista Building

MicrosoftFargo, North Dakota

Microsoft opened its doors in Fargo in 2001 following an acquisition of Great Plains Software, which at the time was the most expensive acquisition the company had ever made. Since then, the campus has evolved and now employs about 1,600 team members within the four campus buildings.

CMTA completed a 34,000+ square-foot remodel of the existing Vista office building to meet the growing demands of the Microsoft Fargo campus. Spaces renovated included conference rooms, offices and cubicles, and break rooms, focusing on increased daylight, updated fixtures, and enhanced comfort. CMTA provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services.
