Galen College of Nursing National Headquarters

Over the past decade, CMTA has partnered with Galen College of Nursing to bring their visionary projects to life and elevate healthcare education nationwide. Building on this trusted relationship, Galen College selected CMTA as the Engineer of Record to design their flagship facility—a cutting-edge home for both the Louisville campus and their national headquarters. Located on an 11-acre site, this 130,000 SF HQ welcomes over 1,400 aspiring nurses locally and supports a network of more than 5,000 students system-wide. With a focus on addressing the national nursing shortage and fostering excellence in nursing education, this facility represents the region's largest educational center solely dedicated to the nursing profession.

The building’s collaborative and immersive learning environments are designed for modern education, featuring high-tech simulation labs, interactive learning spaces, and a fully equipped simulation hospital. These spaces provide students with hands-on training scenarios that replicate real-world patient care situations, helping students develop clinical expertise, refine decision-making, and enhance problem-solving abilities in a safe, risk-free setting.

To further support student success, the facility incorporates a student resource center and library, flexible private and team study rooms, and collaborative gathering spaces. The design not only fosters enhanced student engagement but also cultivates a sense of community and teamwork.

Beyond Louisville, CMTA has completed over 40 simulation labs at Galen College campuses nationwide, including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia. CMTA is proud to partner with Galen College to prepare the next generation of nursing professionals to meet the demands of an evolving healthcare landscape.
