This project was a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract for Rockcastle County Schools, located in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. The project scope included thorough HVAC renovations and upgrades.
Scope components included:
HVAC renovations for Mount Vernon Elementary School that include replacement of water source heat pumps, installation of new rooftop energy recovery units, and replacement of closed circuit fluid cooler
HVAC controls systems upgrades for Mount Vernon Elementary School that include full DDC system upgrade, with implementation of equipment schedules, optimal start logic, and demand limiting controls sequences
HVAC controls retro-commissioning for Rockcastle County High School, ensuring that the exisiting building, equipment, and systems achieve their maximum possible performance
Indoor Air Quality upgrades, installing bipolar ionization devices in all HVAC units throughout the district
LED lighting upgrades, both interior and exterior, for all schools and major school facilities as necessary
Installation of 98.8 kW solar array at Rockcastle County High School
