CMTA’s Lexington Office was featured as a case study in the June 2018 ASHRAE Journal. Not only is the building LEED Platinum but it also earned a perfect ENERGY STAR rating of 100. The article includes different strategies that contributed to this cost-effective, award winning energy efficient office building.
CMTA built its first office building in 2009 with two goals in mind: significantly reduce energy use and create a learning lab environment to test new technologies for high performance buildings. The building was the first LEED Gold office building in Louisville and received a perfect ENERGY STAR rating of 100.
