CMTA’s Lexington Office earned LEED Platinum certification and achieved an ENERGY STAR rating of 100. This article includes different strategies that contributed to this cost-effective, award winning energy efficient office building.
CMTA's headquarters was built with two goals in mind: significantly reduce energy use and create a learning lab environment to test new technologies for high performance buildings. The building was the first LEED Gold office building in Louisville and received a perfect ENERGY STAR rating of 100.
