Spanning 534,644 square feet, the new Westin Cocoa Beach Resort & Spa is poised to become a landmark along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, filling a 160-mile gap in Marriott International’s presence in the region. Designed as a four-star luxury resort, this destination will feature a six-story hotel complemented by extensive meeting and event spaces, including 72,000 square feet of outdoor areas and 51,500 square feet of indoor conference facilities—the largest on the Space Coast.
The resort will offer an impressive array of amenities, catering to both leisure and business guests. Highlights include 11 food and beverage outlets with concept restaurants, a spa, a surfing wave pool, swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additional features include retail shops and a multi-level parking garage accommodating approximately 800 vehicles. Scheduled to open in early 2027, the property is expected to employ over 500 staff and aims to set a new benchmark for hospitality on Florida’s coastline.
CMTA is delivering comprehensive MEP engineering, fire protection, and lighting design services for the project, ensuring the development integrates sustainable and efficient design practices. Notably, the project secured $137 million in Commercial Property-Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) funding—the largest C-PACE deal in Florida and the third-largest in the U.S. hospitality sector. This funding supports energy-efficient and sustainable construction through measures such as high-performance HVAC systems, advanced insulation and lighting, renewable energy solutions like solar, and water conservation innovations, positioning the resort as a model of eco-friendly development.
The Westin Cocoa Beach Resort & Spa is set to become a beacon of luxury, sustainability, and convenience, redefining hospitality standards while contributing to the region’s economic growth.
