This project is a guaranteed energy performance contract for Edmonson County Schools in Brownsville, Kentucky that is utilizing Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for part of this project. 7 facilities, over 352,053 square feet, are included in the project scope. 

This scope includes:

  • 3 rooftop unit replacements for Edmonson County 5/6 Center
  • Mechanical room pump replacements for Kyrock Elementary School
  • Domestic split system replacement for bus garage
  • Global plasma ionization devices for existing HVAC equipment
  • Web-based digital HVAC controls upgrades for Kyrock Elementary School, South Edmonson Elementary School, and 5/6 Center, to improve building performance and to monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot HVAC systems at all schools 
  • LED lighting replacements and retrofits for over 15,000 fixtures
  • Full HVAC renovation at High/Middle School, including replacement of all heat pumps and rooftop equipment, with global plasma ionization devices and web-based digital HVAC controls

CMTA worked hard to minimize disruptions to the students, faculty and staff while keeping the project on track. CMTA provided quick responses to any issues that arose, all while exceeding our expectations. This project has gone very smoothly for us.
