CMTA Grows Texas Presence with Fort Worth Office

September 30, 2025

With increasing demand for CMTA’s expertise in high-performance, resilient buildings across the Texas market, we are proud to announce the opening of our new office in Fort Worth. This strategic expansion supports our existing Dallas office and enables us to provide enhanced services throughout the DFW region. Alongside our Houston location in The Woodlands, CMTA’s presence in Texas now includes three offices and over 45 dedicated employees designing some of the most innovative new construction and renovation projects in the state and beyond.

CMTA is uniquely positioned as the only firm in the U.S. offering a comprehensive suite of services, including MEP engineering, performance contracting, technology design, and acoustic engineering. Leveraging our data-driven approach, we create some of the most energy-efficient, health-conscious buildings in the nation. Our Texas offices are at the forefront of delivering forward-thinking solutions, focusing on high-performance MEP systems that drive value and long-term impact for both new and existing buildings.

One example of CMTA’s expertise in Texas is our work at the University of Texas Southwestern Moncrief Medical Center in Fort Worth. This 65,000-square-foot, two-story expansion significantly increases the facility's capacity and functionality. CMTA designed power and plumbing systems to support advanced imaging equipment, staff support areas, and a robust 2500 KW generator to ensure uninterrupted operation—a critical investment in the region’s healthcare infrastructure.

Another standout example is CMTA’s work within the K-12 market, where we create resilient learning environments that prioritize both energy efficiency and occupant health. Denton ISD’s three new elementary schools exemplify this approach, achieving operational efficiency with a tight building envelope that surpasses federal energy standards by over 200%. These schools also integrate advanced indoor air quality sensors, tracking real-time data on CO₂, VOCs, and other critical metrics to ensure healthier spaces for students and staff. With an Energy Use Intensity (EUI) below 20, this strategic approach not only reduces energy use and utility costs but also enhances humidity control and fosters a healthier educational environment.

As we continue to expand in the DFW area, our Texas locations offer diverse opportunities that cater to professionals at all levels. CMTA seeks passionate engineers ready to lead the way in cutting-edge, energy-efficient design.
